I am in the process of no longer accepting in-network insurance. If you have an insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, I can provide a super bill each month that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I also see private pay clients that choose not to use insurance. You can read more about the benefits of seeing an out-of-network provider here.

Prior to beginning therapy, I recommend you contact your insurance company and ask the following questions:

• Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage? Am I able to use these benefits for telehealth?

• Do I have an out-of-network deductible? (And if so, what is it and have I met it yet)?

• What percentage of out-of-network outpatient psychotherapy sessions are covered per session?

• Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?

• How much will I be reimbursed for a 45 minute out-of-network psychotherapy session (CPT code: 90834)?

• How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?

• What is the timeline for receiving reimbursement once service claims have been submitted?

I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my schedule. If you don’t think you can afford my full private pay rate, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If I’m unable to offer you a sliding scale spot, I will be happy to place you on my waitlist or offer referrals to trusted clinicians. I accept credit cards, debit cards, flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.

Your appointment time will be reserved for you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, based on what we determine together. There is no charge if you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will be processed at your full session fee.

All sessions are conducted virtually with a HIPAA compliant video system that is super easy to use.

My Massachusetts clinical social work license requires that my clients are physically located in the state of Massachusetts during our session times.
